The Priorities of Rossall Beach Residents
A number of issues of concern are being addressed by working with our partners, some of which are environmental and relate to the fabric of the promenade and surrounding area, some are linked to anti-social behaviour created through it being a quiet and secluded spot.

Just some of these issues are:

Anti-social speeding and dangerous driving
The poor condition of the sea wall and apron
Overnight parking, which in turn gives rise to anti-social behaviour

A report has been produced which lists in some detail the concerns of both residents and visitors, and this has been submitted to Wyre Council for consideration.

In principle they agree with our concerns, and we are now working together to identify funding streams through which the works could be financed.

We have also been working hard with Lancashire Police, and through the help of the Inspector, Community Beat Manager and the PCSOs, steps are being taken to address the problems of anti-social behaviour.
